This contest is open to any US Citizen, 18 years old or older, living and/or working in the CW KFRE 59 viewing area that has not won a previous KMPH or KFRE contest within the last 30 days. Employees or ex-employees (and their families) of KFRE or any television station in the Fresno-Visalia, CA area and their affiliates, subsidiaries or agents are not eligible.
Grand Prize: A trip for four (4) to Hollywood, CA with Hotel Accommodations (valued at $700.00); four (4) tickets on the TMZ Hollywood Bus Tour (valued at $276.00), and a VIP Tour of Warner Brothers Studios! (Valued at $236.00). Total prize value: $1,212.00.
Runner up: Ten (10) lucky nightly qualifiers will automatically win a TMZ prize pack valued at $25.00.
Starting Monday, July 8, 2013 through Friday, July 19, 2013, viewers watch the Valley’s CW – KFRE59 from 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM Pacific Time (PT). A “Text Now” prompt will be televised for viewers to text “KFRE” to the number shown on the screen. A random drawing from each night’s entries will become that night’s qualifier and winner of a TMZ prize pack. Each nightly qualifier will then be entered into the Grand Prize drawing for a trip for four (4) to Hollywood, CA with Hotel Accommodations; seats on the TMZ Hollywood Bus Tour, and a VIP Tour of Warner Bros. Studios! One Grand Prize winner will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received during the run of the contest. Text entries for each night will only be accepted between 6:00pm and 8:00pm that night.
Viewers may also enter the contest (if unable to enter via text message) by printing their name, address and phone number on a 3” x5” card and mail it or drop it off in person to The KMPH/KFRE studios, The CW KFRE 59 “TMZ” Contest, 5111 E. McKinley Ave, Fresno, CA 93727. Entries received by mail or delivered in person will be added to the KFRE Text entries for that night’s contest entries. Final delivered entries must be received by 8PM PT on Friday, July 19th. Viewers may only enter via Text Message OR via mail – not both.
Contest begins Monday, July 8, 2013 at 6pm and ends Friday, July 19, 2013 at 8pm.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. No substitutions or exchanges allowed. All taxes are the responsibility of the winner. The winner will be required to come to the KMPH/KFRE studios at 5111 E. McKinley Ave, Fresno, CA 93727, during normal business hours and present proper identification, i.e. California driver’s license or other valid photo identification to receive the prize. Identification which is counterfeit, illegible, tampered with or otherwise altered will not be honored. Prizes not claimed within 90 days are forfeited. By claiming a prize, a winner consents to the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice for promotion and/or advertising purposes in connection with this promotion. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Void where prohibited. The winner must fill out a Prize Waiver and Release form at the time the prize is collected.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. If, for any reason, the promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason which KFRE deems could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, KFRE reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend this promotion, in whole or in part, fair and appropriate by KFRE. IN NO EVENT WILL KFRE, PARTICIPATING PROMOTIONAL COMPANIES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION AGENCIES OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
All decisions of the KFRE 59 judges concerning any and all matters with respect to this contest shall be final. KFRE 59 reserves the right to alter the contest by placing announcements on the air, and assumes no responsibility for changes in the contest rules or internet miscommunication.
